The Idea and Success Factors
“Starting a new business is always a choice you take when you, with your partners, have skills strong enough to manage the business and face its challenges.” Eng. Mo’men started his conversation with this statement to follow it with how Takween was born to live.
They have always been the two most urging elements to Takween, the tailored design bundles and finishing quality. They triggered the Co-founders to think of their own business, however, is that enough to have the trigger without looking to any other factors? In our case, all the factors of a successful business were available, a good network, resources, and experienced partners.
Our Professional Background
Before Takween, the co-founders, Eng. Mo’men Mahmoud, Eng. Mohand El kazaz, and Eng. Eslam Maher cooperated together through many projects related to the hospitality industry, residential, and retail stores, such as the design project management & interior design consulting for Hilton Alexandria Corniche (Ramada Hotel) and the design and quality control for the Home Concept section and numerous retailing stores in Mall of Arabia. So, it was time to start the business.
For his project management and quality control long experience, Mo’men started auditing works in sites, where he reviewed every detail until the turnkey. As an experienced civil engineer, Mohanad managed civil works implementation, in addition to finishing works. Eslam used his experience in value engineering to manage the technical office tasks.
